I’m back!
After a six-year hiatus, I’m beyond excited to announce that I’m officially reopening my sewing business. I’m coming back with a brand new name, a refreshed focus, and even more passion than ever before.
Taking that time away gave me the space to grow, reflect, and rediscover why I fell in love with sewing in the first place. And now, I’m ready to dive back in with a clear vision and renewed creativity — this time focusing on creating beautiful, wearable pieces for women and girls.
What’s New?
First and foremost, my business has a new name, Raw Edge by Angela, that reflects where I am now — both personally and creatively. I’ve refined my style, streamlined my process, and I’m bringing a more intentional and joyful energy into every stitch.
Here’s what you can expect from the new chapter:
- Handmade Clothing for Women & Girls I’ll be designing and sewing original pieces that are comfortable, stylish, and made with care and attention to detail. Think timeless silhouettes, soft fabrics, and details that make each piece special — all designed with real life in mind.
- Basic Alterations & Repairs For the locals–In addition to creating new clothing, I’m also offering a few simple alteration services to help extend the life of your favorite garments. Whether it’s a basic hem, a patch on a tear, or replacing a button — I’m happy to help bring your well-loved pieces back to life.
- Shop Online Starting January 2026 My original designs will be available for purchase right here on my website and through my Etsy shop beginning in January 2026. I can’t wait to share what I’ve been working on — from everyday staples to limited-edition collections.

Why Now?
Honestly, it just felt right. In 2019 God clearly told me to put my business down and focus on Him. During that time I started Bible college and recently completed my Bachelor’s degree in Divinity. I started working in a local church two years ago and have grown so much in my knowledge and understanding of the Lord. I also realized that while my love of God became stronger, my passion for sewing never went away. It was waiting patiently for me to come back–and God has made a way for that to happen. Now, I feel more inspired than ever to create, share, and connect through my work.
Thank You
To those who supported me in the early days — thank you for believing in me. And to those just joining me now — welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. I can’t wait to see where this new chapter leads and to share this journey with you.
Make sure you’re signed up for my email list and following along on social media so you don’t miss the big shop launch in January!
With gratitude and scissors in hand,
Angela
